Search underway for missing 32-year-old man at Mt Barney

Police and SES crews are back searching today for a man missing at Mt Barney in the Scenic Rim region.

The search for 32-year-old Justin Silver resumed this morning after his white 2013 Landrover was found at the Yellow Pinch car park off Upper Logan Road on Wednesday.

Police believe the vehicle may have been parked there since September 10.

Anyone who may have seen Justin walking in the Mount Barney area is urged to contact police.

Investigators would also like to speak with anyone who saw his vehicle with Queensland registration 8-3-1 V-L-P over the past week.

He described as African, 180cm tall, slim build with black hair and brown eyes.
