An Ipswich woman has died following a crash on the Southern Downs.
Police say the 69-year-old lost control of her white Toyota Yaris on the New England Highway at Severnlea about 4am on Sunday, veering off the road and crashing into a concrete drain.
She was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a critical condition but died from her injuries yesterday.

Investigations are ongoing, with police urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
