Dust off the boots and pack the hat – CMC Rocks QLD is heading back to Ipswich for its 20th Anniversary in 2027.
The festival will return to Willowbank Raceway from March 17 to 21, almost two decades after it was first launched in Queensland in 2008.
Festival director Michael Chugg says he’s excited to kick off the celebrations, saying “the legacy of CMC Rocks runs deep” and the festival’s sense of community and country spirit is “like nothing in this world.”

Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding says the festival has become one of the city’s signature events.
“More than 25,000 people attended this year’s CMC Rocks, enjoying all that Ipswich has to offer.
“CMC Rocks generated more than $13 million for the local economy this year, adding “the festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary at Willowbank Raceway in 2027, and will return in 2028.”
The 2027 artist lineup is expected to be announced later this year.
