A man will front an Ipswich court today charged with attempted murder and arson after an alleged domestic violence attack.
Police allege the 50-year-old stabbed a 15-year-old boy and a woman before setting a home on Cascade Street at Raceview alight yesterday afternoon.
The boy was transported to Queensland Children’s Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mater Hospital in a stable condition.
It is believed the three involved were known to each other.
The man was arrested shortly after police arrived on scene and he has been charged with two counts of attempt to murder (domestic violence offence) and one count of arson (domestic violence offence).
