Sandra Levin, mother of music producer Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez’s new mother-in-law, experienced a terrifying home invasion earlier this week. Levin was alone in her Studio City, California home on Monday night (November 24) when three masked burglars broke in. According to reports from ABC7, the intruders entered by breaking a sliding glass door shortly after 9 p.m.
Upon hearing the break-in, Levin quickly ran upstairs and locked herself in a bathroom to call 911. Although police responded to the emergency call, the burglars fled the scene before officers arrived. A home security alarm was also triggered during the burglary.
While Sandra Levin was unharmed, she was understandably shaken by the event. Reports indicate that the suspects kicked down the bathroom door before leaving the home. According to TMZ, the burglars fled after realizing someone was inside when Levin peeked out of the bathroom. It remains unclear what items were stolen, but several rooms in the house were reportedly ransacked.
The burglars, described as wearing masks and dark clothing, are still at large as of Wednesday morning. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
