A police hunt is underway for a male offender who allegedly stole cash from a Plainland fast food restaurant.
It’s alleged at just after 8 on Tuesday night, a man, who was armed with a knife, entered the business on Laidley Plainland Road and stole money from an unattended cash register before fleeing on foot.
No one was injured, and the man did not engage with staff or customers.

He’s described as Caucasian and aged between 18 to 25 years.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage along Laidley Plainland Road and Warrego Highway at Plainland between 7.45pm and 8:15pm to contact police.
