A teenager accused of stabbing Ipswich grandmother Vyleen White has pleaded guilty to her murder.
The 70-year-old was killed during a carjacking at a Redbank Plains Shopping Centre on February 3 last year.
At the time, police alleged the motive was stealing a Hyundai Getz.
He was arrested and charged days later.

The boy, who is now 17 and cannot be named for legal reasons, also pleaded guilty in the Brisbane Supreme Court to the charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and three counts of stealing.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on November 12.
Vyleen White’s case was central to the push for the LNP Crisafulli government’s Adult Time, Adult Crime laws, but the legislation only took effect in December, so will not apply to this case.
Under previous laws, the maximum penalty the teenager faces is 10 years, unless a judge determines his offending was particularly heinous — then, he could be handed a sentence of up to and including life.
