A prisoner who somehow escaped a low security facility in the Scenic Rim has now been taken back into custody.
Daniel James Cox absconded from the Palen Creek Correctional Centre last night.
He was located by police and corrective service officers after extensive patrols of the area.

The 29-year-old is currently serving 6 months for unlawfully obtaining and possessing explosives.
