A crime scene has been established and several streets shut down following a shooting incident in Booval in Ipswich this morning.
Police say they were called to a Bergin Street address at around 4am in relation to man with significant lower leg injuries likely from a gunshot.
He was taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.

Police Mid-block road closures currently remain in place along South Station Road between Sloman Street and Clifton Street.
Investigations are continuing. There is no threat to the public.
