A man has died and another is in hospital following a crash in Springfield Central overnight.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving a silver Toyota Hilux at the Sinnathamby Boulevard and University Drive intersection where the passenger sustained critical injuries at just after 11pm.
Sadly despite efforts by paramedics, the man aged in his 20s, died at the scene.

The driver in his 30s suffered minor injuries and was transported to the PA hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
Any witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision to police.
