A 34-year-old woman has been charged with murder after another woman’s body was found inside an Ipswich home last month.
Police were initially called to Beryl Court at Bellbird Park on February 19 after reports of a disturbance.
Inside, officers found the body of 42-year-old Katherine Sanowski, who was allegedly strangled and left inside the home for about two weeks.

A Bellbird Park woman located at the scene was taken to hospital to undergo a medical assessment.
Earlier this morning, detectives from Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch and Homicide Squad charged the 34-year-old with one count of murder domestic violence offence.
She has been taken into custody and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court this afternoon.
