Man drowns after vehicle goes into river at Moggill

Queensland Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the non-suspicious death of a man in Moggill last night, May 12.

Emergency services were called to a location near Moggill Road around 6:45pm following reports of a blue sedan going into the river.

Following extensive searches along the river by specialist police and other agencies, the vehicle was located around 11.20pm.

Police divers confirmed a man, aged in his 60s, was inside the submerged vehicle just after midnight.
