The Logan suburb of Marsden has been placed into lockdown today as a police incident continues to unfold.
Police say that an emergency declaration (PSPA) was declared at just after 10am following reports of an armed person in the Maple Street area.
Officers have cordoned off several streets including Oregan Street, Hickory Street, Chambers Flat Road, Bunya Street, and Birch Street.

Residents in these streets are urged to remain indoors and the public are advised to avoid the area.
