Toowoomba’s V8 Supercars champion Will Brown will be hoping for a home crowd advantage, when he takes to the track for the 2025 Ipswich Supercars in just over a week’s time on August 8 to 10.

It has been almost six years since the event has been held at Queensland Raceway.

The local champ Will Brown said that he will be counting on the support of dozens of friends and family to push him to victory during the weekend’s three scheduled races.

However, Brown did admit he was not that familiar with the track at Ipswich.

“It’s my home round really, I think I raced Super2 here in 2017 or 18 but apart from that I haven’t raced Supercars around Ipswich but I’m really looking forward to it.”

“Every time I have ever been here when I was younger, the crowd was massive so I think it will be an awesome turnout and especially a few years off but looking forward to it,” he said.

The Ipswich 440 will feature the final Sprint Race of the Supercars season.

The V8 Supercars will share the track with the Australian Superbikes championships on the day.

A free Supercars community event will be held in the Nicholas Street Precinct on the eve of the championships from August 8 to 10.

Motor racing fans are urged to come along and meet their favourites drivers with all 26 Supercars drivers and Australian Superbike riders attending the celebrations
