Police are treating a fire at a Somerset takeaway shop as ‘suspicious’.
Emergency service were called to the business on Walters Street at Lowood after a person allegedly set a jerry can alight and placed it at the front of the store at around 1:30 this morning.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire before any major damage was caused to the premises.

No one was injured.
A crime scene has been declared, and investigations are continuing.
