Investigations continue into historical sexual assaults in Ipswich and South Brisbane

Police are continuing to appeal for information in relation to a historical sexual assault investigation in south-east Queensland.

It will be alleged offences were committed against two teenage boys , who were cadets, by an officer supervising them at various times between 1998 and 2002.

The alleged offences occurred at locations across the Ipswich and South Brisbane areas by a man, who was involved in the aviation industry and in his mid-twenties at the time.

The now 48-year-old Westbrook man was charged last year with four offences, including one count of rape, sodomy and two counts of sexual assault.

Investigators believe there could be other victims and continue to appeal for anyone with further information to contact police.
