People of Ipswich

An empty gallery becomes a living portrait of our city. People of Ipswich is a unique art project where the exhibition starts with bare walls and grows daily as 200 local residents sit for free professional portraits. Led by photographer Amanda Waschevski, each session takes just 15 minutes. Your image is printed on-site and immediately added to a growing mosaic on the gallery walls. At the end of the project, you take your archival print home. Proof of local address required.
