This groundbreaking initiative focuses on improving the landscape nutritional quality of koala food trees to enhance habitat health and support the conservation of these endangered, iconic marsupials.Discover how Australian National University researchers are mapping, surveying, and collecting samples from eucalyptus trees throughout the SE Qld area to identify high-quality koala food sources. Learn how the seeds from these trees are being propagated and planted to create a targeted revegetation strategy aimed at boosting the local koala population.
