Ipswich Live Music & Galvanized: Post Modern Cabaret

Step into a world where modern music meets vintage style at Post Modern Cabaret!   Ipswich has a proud and fascinating history of brass bands, stretching back more than a century. From local halls and competitions to Saturday afternoon performances in the bandstands of Queens Park, brass music has long been part of the soundtrack of our city. On Saturday 12 September, we’re bringing a little of that magic back to life at Studio 188!   Featuring The Vintage Belles and The Knockout Collective, Post Modern Cabaret will blend classic jazz and swing favourites with contemporary hits given a fabulous vintage makeover. Think modern songs with an old-school twist, inspired by the irresistible sound and style of Postmodern Jukebox.    Big brass sounds Fabulous vocals Vintage glamour Jazz, swing and modern favourites reimagined   Whether you love the golden age of jazz, enjoy a great big band sound, or simply want to hear familiar songs in a completely different way, this is a night for you.
