Cooneana After Dark

As part of the Ipswich Galvanized Festival of Heritage, Ipswich Historical Society is once again inviting visitors to experience life in the 19th century at Cooneana After Dark. People will move through Cooneana Homestead by lamplight as our ancestors did. Is there a ghost in one of the rooms? Photographers will be able to capture fantastic flaming forges at our blacksmiths workshop. The Dragons Nest created by our blacksmiths will be another photo worth taking. Samples of wine or soft drink and cheese will be included in the ticket price and Wendy’s potatoes in their jackets with superb fillings will be offered for sale. Jack Sim will recount stories of yesteryear and horse-drawn vehicles will be on display.  This event is not suitable for children under 12 years.
