BVRT Festival of Cycling

The BVRT Festival of Cycling is Queensland’s premier gravel and rail trail cycling experience, bringing riders together for a full day of adventure, connection, and celebration along the iconic Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Held on Saturday 1 August 2026, the festival offers three ride distances — 161km, 75km and 50km — welcoming everyone from endurance riders to social cyclists. Riders journey through scenic farmland, bushland and country towns before finishing in Yarraman, where the event village comes alive with food, music, community activations and a vibrant festival atmosphere. Fully supported with signage, water stops and mechanical assistance, the BVRT Festival of Cycling is more than just a ride — it’s a celebration of cycling, regional tourism and the outdoors.
