This Suicide Prevention Month, we’re bringing Ipswich together for a night that matters. Every dollar raised on the night goes straight to First Light Widowed Support Group, Australia’s only charity providing national support to young widowed people through the isolation and unique challenges of losing a partner. Created by two local women who know devastating grief firsthand, this evening is a safe space for honest conversations, real support, and hope. But most of all, it’s a night to come together, let your hair down, and connect with people who truly understand, surrounded by the businesses and faces of our own community. Together, we will honour loved ones lost to suicide, raise vital awareness around grief, and remind our community that no one has to walk these journeys alone, all while enjoying a beautiful night out with great company and live music. Live Music & Room to Breathe We know how heavy grief is to carry every single day. This is a night to let your shoulders drop, share a laugh, and hit the dance floor. There will be a live band and plenty of moments of genuine joy, because honouring our loved ones can, and should, include celebration and fun. Fundraising Raffles Local Ipswich businesses have thrown their arms around this cause, generously donating some beautiful prizes for our raffles.
