Boonah Turns The Town Blue

This May, the Boonah community is coming together in a powerful way as we “Turn The Town Blue” in support of Do It For Dolly Day on May 8.
Do It For Dolly Day is a national movement that stands against bullying and supports young people and families through the incredible work of Dolly’s Dream.
Right across Boonah, you’ll see a sea of blue — from shopfronts to local businesses — all spreading one simple but powerful message:
Be Kind, Speak Kind, Act Kind.
And our amazing local businesses are getting right behind it!
You can grab blue cupcakes at Sandie Lee’s Kitchen, enjoy a blue beer at the Australian Hotel, sip on blue cocktails at the Commercial Hotel, and cool off with blue ice cream at Glenn’s Diner.
There’s also a Blue Light Disco at the Boonah Tavern, giving the kids a fun and safe way to get involved — plus a full calendar of community activities happening around town.
We’ve also got a huge raffle running, now with over 100 incredible prizes donated by our generous local businesses — all to be drawn on May 8.
And one of the highlights of the week — our Wig and Wine Night Dinner — is already fully booked, showing just how much support this community is giving.
Every dollar raised goes towards Dolly’s Dream, helping fund anti-bullying education in schools, support services for families, and programs that create safer, kinder communities across Australia.
So we’re inviting everyone — locals and visitors — to get involved.
Wear blue, support local, and help us make a difference.
Together, Boonah is standing up, speaking out, and turning the town blue.
💙 Join us this May 8 for Do It For Dolly Day.
