An Ipswich man has been killed in a crash on the Southern Darling Downs.
Emergency crews were called when a Mack Truck and a Mitsubishi Pajero collided on the New England Highway near the Summit at around 6:30 last night.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles left the roadway and caught fire.

The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, a 60-year-old Collingwood Park man, died at the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 65-year-old man from New South Wales, sustained minor injuries.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) are ongoing.
