A 12-year-old girl charged with attempted murder over an alleged stabbing in Ipswich is due to front court today.
Emergency crews were called to a home in Augustine Heights on Sunday afternoon, following reports of a wounding.
Upon arrival, police located a 55-year-old woman with a stab wound to her chest.

The victim was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious-but-stable condition.
The child remains in custody after her court appearance in Ipswich Children’s Court was adjourned to today.
Investigations are continuing.
