A 43-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash in Mundoolun.
Around 2pm yesterday, a white Ford Ranger travelling west on Collins Creek Road has crashed into a white Mitsubishi Canter travelling east.
The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, a 43-year-old Hope Island man, was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
A 20-year-old Jimboomba man, the driver and sole occupant of the Ford, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Any witnesses, including anyone with relevant dash cam vision of either vehicle leading up to the crash, is urged to contact police.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations into the circumstances leading up to the crash, remain ongoing.
