
A Toowoomba race-car driver has become the first woman to win a V-8’s ute race in New Zealand, but says she needs more consistent results.
25 year-old Alexandra Whitley (pictured) has told The Chronicle…you have to be consistent for a long time, if you want to win championships.
It was on the final lap that Ms.Whitley made the race winning move out of turn three, and then held on, to become the first woman to win a race in the series’ 12 year history.
