Bernard Tomic is through to the Sydney Tennis International quarter-finals, after downing fellow Aussie Jordan Thompson.
Tomic toppled the 21-year-old in straight sets 6 – 2, 6 – 2. Earlier, James Duckworth and Sam Stosure were knocked out of the tournament.
