The Hawks are coming off a bye and a resounding 38-10 win over Highfields, but coach Shaun Hobson has made it abundantly clear how important the next game against Souths really is.

The last time Gatton and Souths met, The Hawks only managed victory in the dying stages, with some “brilliance” from Billy Jackwitz.

With finals hopes for both teams on the line, it’s likely to be a tough match this Sunday afternoon at Clive Berghofer Stadium.
