‘This is one for the ladies of sport’ says new Hall of Fame winner.

Michelle Payne’s 2015 Melbourne Cup win has been recognised, as the year’s most inspiring achievement at the Sport Australia Hall of Fame awards.

 

Ms.Payne beat a stellar field including Rio gold medallists Kim Brennan and Kyle Chalmers..and has said the win sends a strong message about women in sport.
