Racing Queensland has abandoned its thoroughbred meet in Toowoomba today, due to an interstate participant being tested for Covid-19.
It’s understood Melbourne-based jockey is not currently displaying symptoms, but did share a flight with another person, who’s now been diagnosed with Coronavirus.
R.Q says cancelling the Toowoomba Turf Club event was the safest option, to minimise risk to the industry.
