The Seagulls swoop in…to peck victory away from The Jets.

The Ipswich Jets are licking their wounds, after a heartbreaking loss at Tweed on the weekend, but are hoping to make amends at home next week.

The Jets must have thought they were in with a good chance of rejoining the winners list for much of Saturday’s game against The Seagulls…but then a couple of tries within three minutes, and a mammoth penalty kick broke the visitors hearts, and left them 2-point losers, finishing at 20 points to 18. 

Sometime-Titan Kiah Cooper did the damage, crossing in the corner twice within 3 minutes…and then the penalty kick sealed The Jets fate.

They face a home game this Saturday, against Norths Devils.
