The Ipswich Cup for 2017 has come under national and International interest, ahead of it’s Winter racing carnival on Saturday.
Two New Zealanders are nominated for the Cup, in top rater ‘Benzini’ and ‘Tessastock’.
Gai Waterhouse is also aiming for a third Ipswich Cup, with her promising four-year-old distance mare ‘Sort After’.

But the exact make-up of the race won’t be known, until the final card is released today.
