The N.R.L has confirmed that for the first time in its history, a regular season game will be played in Toowoomba.
A statement released by the League yesterday announced the Gold Coast Titans will travel up the Range to play the match next season, confirming the Garden City is amongst a host of other regional centres to host a fixture in 2018.
This means that former Brothers Toowoomba junior, and Titans rookie half-back Ashley Taylor (pictured), will return to the city where he honed his skills as a youth.

While it’s yet to be confirmed which venue will host the mammoth tie, Clive Berghofer Stadium seems to be the likely choice – given its size.
