
A disastrous second half in Cooktown on the weekend, saw The Ipswich Jets go down to The Northern Pride, and slip out of the Intrust Super Cup top eight.
The Jets had an 18 to 4 lead early in the second session, but then The Pride scored three tries in six minutes, and another two soon after.
Despite a late consolation try to The Jets, they went down 34 to 24…and slipped to 9th on the table.

Worse still, they face the ladder-leading Redcliffe next at Dolphin Oval.
