The Jets are confident of cutting down Mackay on Saturday.

The Ipswich Jets look set for another win in the Intrust Super Cup this weekend, as they take on the out-of-form Mackay Cutters at North Ipswich Reserve. 
The Jets had a big win in Round 5, coming back from 12 – nil down just before half time against the Northern Pride, but then scoring an unchallenged 16 points to pass the Cairns side. 
Coaches Ben and Shane Walker say they were happy with the defence, and with the way players took advantage of the chances that came their way in the second half.

There’s no such thing as an easy clash in the Q.R.L comp, but with the home-ground advantage and a five-place lead on the ladder, the Jets look set to be too strong for Mackay on Saturday.
