A Toowoomba cricket player has been signed up for the Big Bash League.
Brendan Doggett (pictured) will play for Brisbane Heat, after his stunning Sheffield Shield debut for the Queensland Bulls.
The young fast-bowler took 4 for 33 in Victoria’s first innings, and became the first indigenous player to represent Queensland at a first-class level since 1982-83.
