There was another disappointing weekend for the Ipswich Jets, after being comprehensively beaten by the Souths Logan Magpies.
The Jets began well, scoring first and leading 6 – nil after 15 minutes, but then the home side stepped it up a gear, leading 20 to 6 at half time.
They stretched that out to 32 – 8 with just 16 minutes to go, and while Ipswich was able to boost its score with two more tries…the final scoreboard showed 34 points to 18…leaving the Jets outside the six.

Next week they’re back home again…but facing Norths Bears, who are dominating the Intrust Super Cup competition.
