Ipswich’s Ash Barty has had a successful start to her U.S Tennis Open campaign.
Ms.Barty, who’s ranked as World Number 18, won in straight sets over Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur – 6 – 1, 6 – 3.
She won over 70% of points on her serve, and was only broken once in the match, that lasted just over an hour.
