Ipswich’s Ali Brigginshaw is in a race to be Origin-fit after being sidelined for up to 10 weeks with a ligament ankle injury.
The Maroons captain arrived at a local International Women’s Day event in a moon boot this week, after suffering the injury during an Ipswich Brothers trial game.

Brigginshaw has now been ruled out of Queensland’s new state competition, which is to start this month.
