Ipswich’s Ash Barty is backing herself to take out the Brisbane International, despite having eight women with a better ranking than her.
Ms.Barty will not be one of the eight seeds unless one of them withdraws from the tournament, starting at the Queensland Tennis Centre on Sunday week.
Our local World No.17 believes she has what it takes, to withstand a busy three-tournament Australian Summer.
