Aussie pace bowler Mitchell Starc will be eased into the first shield game for New South Wales against Queensland, which gets under way this afternoon at the Gabba.
It will be Starc’s first match since lacerating his shin in training last month.

He’ll bowl limited overs and could even be replaced midway through the match.
