
Toowoomba’s Mick Fogarty (pictured) has had the rare honour of representing Queensland in two different sports – over 70’s tennis and cricket.
The 71-year-old found out he’d be playing for the state’s tennis carnival last month, after returning from the Australian Cricket Championships in Adelaide.
Mr.Fogarty says he’s pretty sure he’s the only Australian playing two sports for the state in the over 70’s.
