‘Lovely Deb’ puts her lifting power behind the 2032 Olympic bid.

A former Olympian and Commonwealth games winner from Ipswich, has called on Queenslanders to get behind the bid for the 2032 Olympics.

Local weight-lifter Deborah Acason (pictured) won medals at the Commonwealth Games, and represented Australia in Athens and Beijing.

The Olympian told local media…hosting the games would be a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity.
