A Logan girl has gone from volunteering to scoring big, in the national shooting championships in less than a year.
Emily Giarola says she became interested because her grandfather and uncle were involved in the club and she thought it would be something fun to do with them.

The 13-year-old walked away with first place in the D-Grade Classic and overall Sub-Junior Classic at the championships earlier this year.
