Beaudesert’s Jason Day hopes teaming up with former golfer Rickie Fowler at the new-look Zurich Classic of New Orleans, will help kick start his mis-firing season.
Day has been indifferent and distracted, and pulled out of the World Golf Championships in Texas, after his mother’s lung cancer diagnosis at the start of the year.
He’s now slumped to 175th on Tour in driving accuracy and has also lost his putting touch…ranking 144th in strokes gained in putting this season.
