A local stadium will be built, after the Prime Minister revealed funding would be granted to The Brisbane Lions.
Scott Morrison announced the Federal Government would provide $15 million for The Lions’ training and administration facility, called The Reserve at Springfield.
The P.M says it will include a boutique 10,000 capacity stadium…including a pool, gym, meeting rooms and an auditorium for the wider community.

Construction of the facility will start this year, and is expected to be complete by 2021.
