Ipswich…start your engines!

Ipswich is on the verge of fulfilling a dream and becoming a ‘mecca of motorsport’.

 

A deal is close with the booming business of V-8 Supercars…that would secure the city with a race for an unprecedented 10 years.

 

A flagged $220 million upgrade to the ‘Paperclip’ track, which has had its critics, is expected to land Ipswich a ‘licence to thrill’.

 

Despite a major announcement being imminent, Mayor Paul Pisasale is playing his cards close to his chest…but has said it’s been one of his long term goals.
