Chris Walker from the Ipswich Jets is planning a political career on the Gold Coast.
Chris is eligible to enter the Gold Coast election campaign, as he’s a local resident of the coast.
He’s told RIVER 949’s Marnie and Campo – he’s seeking to become Gold Coast Mayor at this year’s Council elections – and he reckons, the current Mayor of Ipswich is the one person who can advise him, saying he’s delivered for Ipswich and has done well for the city.

Chris says he’d like to deliver the same initiatives to the Gold Coast as has been delivered to the city of Ipswich.
