Ipswich hockey official sets his sights on the Comm Games.

An Ipswich hockey umpire is hoping to impress in Malaysia later this month, in a bid to be named as an official at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. 

Steve Rogers (pictured) was elected to represent Australia, at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup from April 27th to May 6th. 

He’s told the Q.T – he’s the only Australian umpire…and was hoping to be selected, after officiating at a national league level for more than 13 years.
